Dog Walking
Approximately 20 minutes
No “out-of-town services” (see below)
- $25 for the first dog
- $4 each additional dog
Dogs are social creatures. When you’re away for 10 or 12 hours or more, a Critter Sitter walk gives your buddy a much-needed potty break and a chance to stretch legs, see the world, and enjoy some social time.
Regular dog walking visits can be especially valuable when you are training puppies. Some clients start with 2 visits per day for young pups, and cut back to 1 visit as the puppy gains maturity.
Your Critter Sitter can walk your dog on a regular schedule, or pitch in when work (or fun) suddenly demands a longer stretch away.
Pet Sitting
Approximately 20-30 minutes (holiday visits may be shorter).
Includes “out of town” services, (see below)
- $26 for the first animal
- $4 each additional dog/$3 each additional cat or other pet
A pet sitting visit includes feeding, fresh water, a walk and cleaning out the cat litter box for cats. We’ll spend time visiting with social cats, and we make sure to at least get a glimpse of shy cats at each visit.
If you have birds, fish, or exotics, we’ll address all their feeding and cleaning requirements too.
In addition we will:
- Water plants
- Turn lights on and off
- Pick up mail
We recommend a minimum of 2 visits per day while you are out of town. Some clients have us come 3 or 4 times, especially for puppies and seniors.
Sitting is usually more affordable
For 1 animal, the cost for 2 daily visits is about the same as boarding. And if you have 2 or more pets, it’s dramatically less expensive—as well as being better for the pet and easier for you!
