I had been to this particular client’s home many times, and so I quickly entered thru the front door & stepped into the foyer.
Thankfully, I looked down before taking that first step…
A coil of black snake awaited my arrival!
I could tell it was “fresh kill” when the kitties ran up to greet me triumphantly to say, “look what we brought you!”
It’s a mystery how the snake got into the house. But thankfully the kitties had spotted it first and taken care of the situation.
I was glad to learn from the local nature people that it was not poisonous.
